There are now some cannabis strains that regularly reach THC levels of 30% or more. Why breed a strain so strong? Let's be honest, it has become a specific sport for us and we wanted to see how far we could go and what was possible. It cost us a lot of work and a lot of effort, but the result even amazes us.
Future No. 1 achieved the highest THC level we have ever seen, although this was not considered possible from a physical perspective for a long time. And that can mean a lot. Our future No. 1 was born from a cross between our strongest and most famous Gorilla Glue 4 with an excellent and long-running Starfighter F2. To date, the general belief is that the absolute physical limit of THC content is 35%. But our No. 1 future has proven time and time again. Although it has not been possible to conclusively explain how it happened until now, it is believed that its extreme resin production makes it possible.
The THC content is just one side of an excellent high. Also crucial is the terpene profile and the content of other cannabinoids in a strain. In addition to strength, our breeding work also focused on aroma. In addition to an intense pineapple aroma and versatile citrus aromas, our new variety is accompanied by a strong mango shine. The proportion of myrz, nerodiol and limonene is particularly high and perfects the effect by giving it additional strength. The taste is a real sweet fruity experience that will leave you wanting more.
The future #1 is a highly potent hybrid whose effects begin quickly and with great energy. It offers a stimulating, strongly euphoric high that also has psychedelic elements and expands the senses. At the same time, the effects are extremely physically relaxing and create a floating feeling of lightness and positive mood. This strain is suitable for sensual experiences and deep feelings. It is suitable for creative work, evening relaxation and leisure, but in no case when you need to be concentrated. Beginners often find it too strong and should be careful with it. Overall, the dosage should be adjusted carefully.
The flowers reach an amazing size and density. During the flowering period, they pile a thick glittering layer of resin on their surface, a result of the massive resin production. With 500 g m2 indoors and up to 1 kg per plant outdoors, it is one of the high-yielding varieties that are also interesting for commercial cultivation.
Growing Future #1
Future 1 thrives on sufficient and balanced nutrient intake. To reach its full potential, it needs plenty of light, good soil and an excellent climate. Make sure there is enough air circulation around the flowers, especially towards the end of flowering. Pruning the lower branches in favor of the upper and taller ones has a positive effect on the growth pattern and returns. Indoors we recommend lollypopping and outdoor decking for best results.
Medical use
The No. 1 future is wonderfully strong and eliminates all bad feelings. From a medical point of view, its potency and concerted cannabinoid profile make it particularly suitable for controlling pain, depression, nausea and symptoms of stress and overwork.
