The Black Russian (DS29) is the result of crossing two legendary ;rer Indicas, the White Russian and the Black Domina - each a jewel in itself, together a diamond.

The Black Russian (DS29) is extremely easy to grow and forgiving of fertilizer errors and temperatures that are too high or too low. The stretch after initiating flowering is moderate. She is compact in stature and produces many side branches, as is usual with high-yielding indicas.

It produces a lot of resinous and compact flowers that have a noticeably few small leaves between the flowers, making harvesting a breeze.

Taste fanatics will get their money's worth with the Black Russian (DS29). The dominant aroma of fruit is complemented by a sour note and an earthy tone, both of which are due to the partly Afghan origin of the genetics.

The taste is significantly stronger than the aroma. The heavy smoke spreads in the mouth with a pleasant sweetness that one would not have suspected given the sour aroma. Only when you breathe out do you notice that the acid has not evaporated after all, because then it becomes noticeable on the sides of the tongue and causes a short kick in the synapses.

The effect of the smoke is typical of an almost pure indica, very relaxing and lasts a long time. This and the possible positive effect against pain make the Black Russian a plant that is expressly recommended for medicinal use.
