Long Live The Queen of Africa (Kaboom) - Marijuana Seeds
The name of this sativa-dominant feminized marijuana seed (albeit with a strong indica touch) comes from the plant's majestic appearance and its magnificent crown. It will grow as tall as you allow it without asking, with heavy, compact and quickly maturing flower buds.
The variety, also known as Kaboom, owes a large part of its success to its parentage. At Kannabia Seeds Company, we wanted to cross varieties that form stable combinations and bring out the best of different protected varieties. And we did it. On the one hand, there is an Indica base with a high quality Afghan to provide a supple development and a noticeable calming effect. On the other hand, two famous marijuana seeds welcome each other in La Reina de Africa, a special Thai full of oriental flavor and an AK 47, i.e. efficiency and yield in its purest form.
The result is a sativa that gets that fruity, spicy - even spicy - aroma from its Thai ancestors and its growth, productivity and strength from its Afghan and South American ancestry. With this monarch we have managed to bring a second award in the Sativa category to Spain, from the GuiaWeed 2017 competition in Chile.
It has a relatively high THC content of over 20% and is easy to grow. It produces a resin that is ideal for any extraction technique.
Cultivation of La Reina de África or Kaboom
Outdoor, this plant lives up to its royal ancestry. In good conditions it will grow to over two meters tall and if you prune the crowns it will spread throughout the area. The flowering phase lasts between 60 and 65 days, although you might get the impression that it takes even longer. You will harvest around 450g per plant at the end of September.
It is an easy marijuana seed to grow, you don't have to pay attention to any special interventions in nutrition or development if you don't want to. The plant is particularly productive due to the AK 47 genetic makeup and is especially recommended for outdoor cultivation, but it can also thrive indoors. Due to her sativa dominance, you should make sure that the EC value remains low despite everything and within your means.
And if you are growing La Reina de África indoors, we recommend using either a SCROG net or the SOG (Sea Of Green) method to control growth and thus maximize its yield capacity. Indoors, the plants should ideally be no higher than 60 cm. So we can get around 500 g per square meter.
As it grows, the kaboom plant stretches its arms wide and at right angles from the trunk, with many fine leaves that make it strong and dense. It is pest resistant and the sativa to indica ratio is a very stable 60%:40%.
Taste and effect of La Reina de África or Kaboom
The enjoyment of La Reina de África is more mental than physical, freeing the brain from stress and opening you up to a feeling of pure happiness. The effect is pleasant, stimulating and quite strong.
The taste is where their character is most expressed. The Queen of Africa has an intense tropical fruity taste (reminiscent of mango) and her Thai genes add a very special spicy aroma. Thanks to this special aroma, you would immediately recognize them in a blind tasting.
