Like mental vacation... Acid is a 60% indica hybrid, our popular refinement of the classic NYC Diesel. She is a cannabis strain that is fairly easy to manage in the grow room and has richly rewarding productivity.

Paradise Seeds is known for adding its own distinctive twist to popular cannabis strains, and this strain is no different. Acid is built on the great flavor and turn of the original NYC Diesel with additional genetics from the Paradise treasury, resulting in a diesel strain with increased indica dominance and more potency and yield than the original.

Lineage

New York City Diesel burst onto the scene in the early noughties, a cross between landraces from Mexico and Afghanistan. It is known for its mentally stimulating, relaxing and pain-relieving effects.

Acid was one of the first cannabis strains from Paradise Seeds, putting a new, distinctive stamp on a popular original strain. A female Diesel plant was crossed with our favorite Holland genetics to strengthen the indica element in this hybrid. Which resulted in increased effectiveness and a more intense relaxation effect.

The name Acid was inspired by the taste, but also by the effect, as this often brings increased sensory sensations and a change in consciousness.

Smell and taste

The taste and smell that inspired us to name Acid are very specific - metallic and slightly gasoline-like - and correspond to the typical flavor of Sour Diesel.

Acid comes across as extremely fruity in the grow room, and the bouquet of this cannabis plant is one of the characteristics that make it so attractive to many growers.

The terpene profile is a wonderfully balanced mix of ocimene, terpinolene, limonene and pinene.

Even when dried, the buds still have a fruity note, but also a taste of diesel and metal, which was clear enough to inspire us to come up with this strain name.

Cultivation

Difficulty level: Medium

Indoors: Acid hemp seeds produce plants with excellent performance. They reach a manageable height (approximately 110 cm) and form branches that are richly covered with dense inflorescences. They also fill your grow room with a powerful fruit aroma when ripening. Warning: Make sure your filters are working well to ensure that powerful fruit aroma doesn't leak out of your grow room.

Outdoors: Acid grows well in most areas, including those with a more moderate climate. But it only really takes off in the warmth and sun of Mediterranean areas, where its sativa genes allow it to reach for the sun (up to a height of around 200 cm) and possibly even exceed our yield figures.
