Caramba is a Wappa x Gelato 33 cross, meaning it brings all the award-winning characteristics of the most popular Paradise hybrids with extra resin, improved flavor and higher potency that comes from a particularly sticky-sweet Gelato phenotype.

The result is an exotic hybrid with excellent robustness and all-round very good properties.

Smell and taste

True to the Wappa tradition, the base note of the plant is a distinctive skunk aroma that is particularly noticeable during the vegetation phase.

This aroma is intense and the terpene profile is rich in lime with citrus and orange, but still not a stink bomb in the grow room like the original Wappa. Once dried, the buds retain that skunk/citrus smell, but the flavor offers much more detail with its balanced profile of strawberry and orange with a hint of diesel.

Indoor cultivation:

Plants in the Wappa family have a reputation for being easy to care for. Beginners can be confident that Caramba is good-natured and forgiving of mistakes due to lack of experience, while experienced Gardeners will certainly be able to achieve their maximum potential. Indoors it reaches a medium height, suitable for most growing conditions.

The breeding team advises pruning the plant slightly to expose the flower bases and prevent the flowers from being located mainly at the top. It is also recommended to use the lollipop method on the plant after 5 weeks of flowering to remove useless branches on the lower 30 cm of the shoot axis.*

Outdoor cultivation:

Like all plants in the Wappa family, this variety is ideal for different climates, temperatures and differences in altitude. It is extremely versatile, very resilient and thrives very well outdoors.

The further south it is grown, the larger the buds will be, but even in northern areas you will be impressed by the yields and high resistance.

*As with all exotic strains, the downside to higher potency and more flavor is that the plants are susceptible to hermaphroditism when under stress. Therefore, it is important to keep an eye out for pollen sacs on the lower branches and use the lollipop method to prevent any problems that may arise.

Yield and appearance

In the GrowRoom, this compact plant has a typical Indica habit, with the exotic genes producing purple-colored leaves shortly before harvest.
