The sativa beast... Dutch Dragon is one of our award-winning original strains and continues to enjoy great popularity thanks to her huge harvest potential. This plant has its roots on the African continent, the original genetics found their way from Swaziland to Europe a few years ago. A potent plant praised for its power. This fiery (yet laid-back) sativa has been crossed with Dutch strains to make her a reliable, richly rewarding plant. As a strong, stretchy plant, it is in the tradition of good sativas, but still has a surprisingly bushy growth pattern. It is a very high-yielding variety that will show unbridled growth if you let it.

Lineage

Dutch Dragon is one of the original Paradise Seeds strains, developed in the 1990s (and further genetically improved a decade later). She is a powerhouse strain and a cosmopolitan mix of genetics from three continents. Under the hood is a raging African sativa engine, known for its powerful potency acceleration and sweet citrusy flavor. To curb your appetite for unbridled growth, this genetic melting pot also contains Skunk and Indian parent genetics.

Smell and taste

In the grow room, this strain makes no secret of its terpene profile, which is high in limonene and caryophyllene; in the flowering phase, the air is filled with a strong, sweet citrus scent. The dried buds retain their sweet, fruity aroma, with slightly softer citrus notes - they taste more like juicy tangerines than sour lemons.

Indoors: Dutch Dragon has a large following among indoor feminized seed breeders. Due to their natural tendency to stretch towards the light (whether artificial or of course), this beast can be a challenge if your cultivation area is very limited in height, but it can also be relatively easily tamed using suitable training methods. If the indoor area is large is enough for the beast to really let off steam, the result will be rapid and vital growth, which will later lead to large quantities of flowers.

Outdoors: This is a great strain for novices to outdoor growing, especially those looking to ply their trade in the Southern Hemisphere. Dutch Dragon cannabis seeds produce a sativa plant that is known for its fat, long, resinous buds, which swell particularly strongly if you leave them for a week longer in the flowering phase. As with many Paradise strains, the buds are surprisingly dense, sticky and look super frosty with all the trichomes.
