The name comes from its finely rounded taste, which has made Ice cream plant popular with cannabis growers and indica fans around the world.

But then why the Ferrari comparison? Because once this plant gets going, it goes like a red racing car, fast and furious.

What a fast ride! When we released this highly special variety, it became an instant hit and also impressed the taste buds of the judges at the High Life Cup, who included it in their top 3 for three years in a row.

Lineage

Ice Cream cannabis seeds develop into 60:40 hybrid plants that are characterized by fast growth, lots of vitality and a distinctive exotic taste. The genetic mix includes White Widow, Bubble Gum and an old-school Californian Skunk. Selected genetics from three continents were selected and ensure potency, stability and aroma in this variety.

Smell and taste

In the grow room, the scent of vanilla is very present, accompanied by a skunky note. Ice Cream makes itself felt on the taste buds with an exotic flavor of creamy vanilla, skunk and a pinch of pine.

The unique aromatic notes of this strain make it a great choice for cannasseurs.

Cultivation

Difficulty: Medium

Indoors : Growing this beauty took some time. The result is a plant that is perfect for indoor cultivation, thanks to fast, healthy growth (with a flowering time of 8-9 weeks) and low tendency to stretch.

This makes it an ideal, richly branching plant and also allows it to work spectacularly well in a Sea of Green (SOG) setup.

Outdoors: Outdoors, Ice Cream may not prove to be a particularly big yielder, but it is still popular with growers looking for her indica strength.

It even performs satisfactorily in northern areas of the world. However, it feels most at home in the south - where there is plenty of sunshine to ensure optimal performance from its resinous buds.

Yield and appearance

The Ice Cream plant has copious amounts of trichomes under the hood that are very densely packed, its gland heads are arranged in tight rows like regiments and glitter with a resinous glow.

This appearance contributed to the name of this strain (as did its vanilla flavor), and all those trichomes result in incredibly luscious buds that are also dense and fat. This variety produces three phenotypes.
