Lineage

The exact genetics of Sensi Star hemp seeds are a closely guarded secret - it's a bit like the world's most popular fizzy drink. What we can reveal is that the genetic code of this distinctively smelling and tasting plant contains Afghan and Indian elements, as well as a bit of skunk. Its renowned potency has resulted in genetic progeny being created all over the world, winning the hearts of countless cannabis growers, and becoming a legend of the Cannabis Hall Fame.

Smell and taste

The aroma produced by Sensi Star is unique and almost defies description. In the grow room it is very present - strong but also fresh, with minty and metallic notes, as well as hints of pine, pepper and perfume. Her terpene profile is dominated by myrcene, limonene and caryophyllene. After drying, this uniqueness is transferred to the taste, it is such a complex combination of flavors that your taste buds will feel dizzy.

Cultivation

Difficulty Level: Easy to Medium

Indoors: Small, stocky and bushy - this plant is well suited to all types of grow spaces as it allows the grower to maximize the available space. Sensi Star does well in both soil and hydro media (8-9 weeks of flowering time). This feminized seed variety has also been bred for use as a multi-branched show plant, as well as (exceptionally well) in Sea of Green (SOG) and Screen of Green (SCROG), where the side branches of these short, stout plants contribute to excellent yields.

Outdoors: Sensi Star also demonstrates its outstanding genetic heritage in the wild, here it tends to grow into beautiful, lush bushes that emerge from the ground like new stars explosively opening up in distant galaxies. With lots of sunshine, this plant produces lots and lots of buds, making it a big favorite with growers in southern areas and those with Mediterranean climates. Although it is not our best recommendation for northern regions, we have also seen very nice specimens from gardens with a temperate climate.

Yield and appearance

Sensi Star is a very impressive plant, growers can expect shapely proportions with buds that are rock hard and covered in so much resin that they almost glow in the dark with crystals.

Cultivation data

Sensi Star hemp seeds are suitable for outdoor cultivation between 50º n.B. and 50º s.B. and produce plants that are ready to harvest outdoors (n.b.) in early October and indoors within 8-9 weeks. The yield is around 400 g/m2 indoors and up to 600 g per plant outdoors.
