The mountain of richness... Stromboli is a fitting name for this Autoflowering plant with huge yields and a lot of THC (20%+). Like a volcano, this sativa-dominant hybrid explodes with an all-consuming flood of lava that's packed with flavor and the kind of intense potency that creates a felt earthquake.

This potent pocket volcano has several other outstanding qualities, from its robust shape to the density of its flower production, making it a huge yielder for an auto strain. When it comes to terpenes, growers can expect a profile as intense as a glowing magma bubble

Lineage

Go to the center of this volcano and you will find the elements responsible for this explosive mixture. For parenting, selected Afghani landraces were combined with a unique sativa-focused phenotype of the notorious potency hammer GG4 (formerly known as Gorilla Glue), plus the necessary Ruderalis genes to instill the automatic flowering clock into this hybrid.

The result is a rock hard, high yielding plant that produces fast and furious! Just like Paradises Auto Kong, which has its roots in the same GG4 source, these plants can produce phenotypes that lean more towards either the indica or sativa side.

Smell and taste

While it is the explosive volcano-like power that immediately attracts attention, it is the underlying layers that provide a fascinating insight into the phenomenon. So let's take a closer look at the terpene profile that underlies the scent and taste of Stromboli. In the grow room, pine-like and fruity aromas create a characteristic scent.

During the taste test, even more complex subtleties can be discovered. The pine influence is still present here, pine-like freshness with a grassy note on the tongue and a spicy touch at the back of the throat. The aftertaste pampers the palate with notes of passion fruit, it is sweet, but also has a touch of tartness.

Cultivation

Difficulty level: Easy

Indoors : Stromboli requires no special treatment, and its evolution from a dormant to an exploding volcano is one of unwavering purpose. For beginners it's pure growing pleasure, but old hands will also appreciate how easy it is to handle. Its compact shape (a height of no more than one meter) makes it a great choice for even the smallest cultivation area.

Outdoors : Like all autoflowering strains, this one is perfect for any outdoor growing. In northern areas, growers can benefit from the full strength of mid-summer sun, and outdoor cannabis seed growers are offered the potential to produce 2-4 harvests over the course of a season, depending on the climate. Although this is a sativa-dominant plant, its buds are more susceptible to mold due to its size, so growers should be vigilant when humidity levels rise.

Yield and appearance

The plants are compact, bush-like, with broad dark green leaves, and their Afghani influence ensures that they don't stretch too much, they develop more width. The flowers that appear on its expansive surface coalesce into buds that rise like mini volcanoes - large, chunky (reflective of the plant's indica side) and crystal white, streaked with orange pistils.
