The stabilized Bubble Gum produces plants with few branches but which expand during stretch, use caution in small growing areas.
It is a strong and beautiful plant that grows a heavy stem, you never need to tie large buds. The first stages of seedlings can be tender and you need to be a little careful at this stage. It is important not to let them be overgrown by neighboring plants, which may initially grow faster. Once they are about 2 weeks old, the Bubble Gums will begin to grow faster and grow as quickly as other plants. This growth delay can be explained by the fact that BG is an inbred line and therefore does not have this hybrid vigor effect (faster and stronger growth) of F1 hybrids.

A little history:
There are several varieties in the world of cannabis genetics whose origins and subsequent selection process are not clear. Breeders are particularly confused when a particular variety is offered under the same name by two or more seed banks: who has the original, who has the copies? The Bubblegum strain is a controversial variety, with at least two seed banks offering their own versions, in this case: Serious Seeds and T.H. Seeds (both based in Amsterdam), not to mention all the bad copies. That's why we decided to trace the true roots of Bubble Gum.
-The two breeders mentioned above came up with two corresponding versions of the breeding history of Bubble Gum, which provide good reasons for the existence of two high-quality Bubble Gum strains: The original seeds were developed by a breeder in Indiana (USA) during the 80s. In 1993, this person gave three very different female bubble gum plants to Adam from T.H. but also to Simon and Tony (the two separated shortly afterwards, Simon founded Serious Seeds and Tony founded Sagarmatha Seeds) from Cerebral Seeds.
-Bubble Gum ended up in the hands of three breeders in the Netherlands. And from that moment on, various new chapters were written in Bubble Gum's breeding history, its development somehow branched out. Three breeders, three selection methods: These seed masters would make their own special selection from the three different genetic types they had received. Simon reports: "As far as I know, T.H. Seeds has worked with one of these 3 plants more than I have." That's why Adam (the BG from T.H. Seeds will be another story...) considers his Bubble Gum to be "mainly indica", while Simon puts his version in the "mainly sativa" category. He focused his research on two of the three lines and ultimately settled on one type to become his Bubble Gum seed variety.
It took five generations for Simon to achieve the desired breeding result and then officially registered it under the name "Bubble Gum".
